    And others were fine trading him + Moncada + for a freakin pitcher. No thanks. You can throw all the filthy stats you want in my face, but an everyday star is more valuable than a single starting pitcher. So so glad they kept these guys!

    Pulling guys isn't rocket science. When a pitcher doesn't have it and is giving up lots of walks and hits, it will end up as runs if you leave them in the game. End of story. It's stupid leaving a guy out there 'to work out of their jam' when they have nothing to work with! Francona was terrible as well (though I still like him overall as a manager).

    The fact that there were errors is unimportant. 6 runs is 6 runs. Price had NOTHING, couldn't throw strikes and we getting hit hard when he did come over the plate. They should have gone right to Buchholz. This isn't like him just running out of gas the last time out, he struggled from the start today. Just realize, we could very well have a 1 run lead right now if Farrell pulled Price after the first walk in the 5th. Instead we are still trailing. Waiting until your pitcher gives up 6,7, 8 runs is never a winning strategy...

    Anderson Valley makes a great Gose. For other sours, I'd suggest any lambic: Boon Oude Gueuze (mariage Parfeit, etc), Lindemans Cuvee renee, Hanssen's, de troche oude gueuze, timmermans limited edition oude gueuze or oude kriek, Oude Beersel, St. Louis gueuze, Tilquin. For Great american sours/saisons, I'd highly recommend Allagash (lots of sours, allagash.com should give you a good idea of what is available), Oxbow, Cascade, Wicked Weed, Almanac, etc Be warned, outside of Gose, sours can get very expensive! (as in $10+ for a small bottle! Just about every sour is single-bottle, small or large format, but not 4 or 6 pack). But it's worth it occasionally! Sours are a very wide spectrum too. There are many different styles; fruited vs non-fruited; aged vs fresh; barrel aged; super sour vs less aggressive but more funk; and some are just not all that good. So don't get turned off if you try one (or a bunch) that you don't like, there's a ton of variety.
