  1. I am shamed.
  2. I want to trade Brian Westbrook for a WR. 1 for 1, or 2 for 2 deal.
  3. When Robertson missed, he usually missed low. When Hughes missed, he usually missed high. Please don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say I was high on him, I'm just more sold on Robertson. Plus, the guy was lights out in the playoffs, and Hughes was a little bitch.
  4. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60224/20090630/rockets_might_be_interested_in_curry/mobley_for_t_mac_deal/ http://offthedribble.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/22/the-key-to-the-knicks-future-may-be-curry/ Sigh...I am forever surrounded by idiots. Emmz...just because your internet boyfriend makes s*** up all the time, don't think I do. I really believe that if the Knicks can get rid of Curry, they will get Lebron because they will pair him up with another star. We shall see.
  5. What I said is that with Hanley instead of Beckett and Lowell, you may have won one championship anyways. You wouldn't have made the Lugo deal, who knows who you might have gotten in 2007. Fine, Beckett is a top of the rotation starter, an ace. Hanley is one of the top 5 players in the game. I don't think Beckett is. Also, not saying it was a bad deal, but it wasn't a good one. It was a deal that really helped both teams. Would the Red Sox have been better off without making the deal? No one can say for sure, and a strong argument can be made both ways. Trading is not a strong point of this regime. Remember Gagne? Getting V-Mart was in my opinion not the best move, getting Lee would have been. The strength of this FO is it's ability to sign and develop their own players. That's all I said. Also, I answered the Scutaro thing. Nice of you idiots to read..but it is New England after all.
  6. BEST f***ING LINE OF THE YEAR. Dude...sorry bro, but your at the bottom of the list when it comes to credibility these days. It's one thing to lose an argument or a debate. It's another to lie and make s*** up...and then continue to lie about it when you're caught. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You have no right to call anyone a liar. Fitting that you're a Red Sox fan. Just like your championship teams, you're a fraud. This is awesome. I'm lovin' this more than you believe. Nothing against the new posters here, but this is for the old timers here....do you remember when you won in 2007, how pretty much every Yankee fan here gave you your due and congratulated you on your championship? After you won, you got a bunch of frontrunners who just cry like bitches. You all know who you are...and on which side you're considered on.
  7. My favorite part of this thread is that 4 out of 15 predicted the Yankees to win, yet they were SUPPOSED to win. LOL! I LOVE IT! The funny thing is that people claim this championship to be illegitimate. However, the Sox are 90 years and running if they're two big guns weren't on PEDs...and their front office went on a Yankee spending binge in the pre-2007 off-season to bring in three stars. Had the Yankees won the bidding for Matsuzaka, it would have been the big bad Yankees...but the Sox...that's ok. This is the height of hypocrisy. It really is the pot calling the kettle black. No PEDs...Ortiz gets released, 2004 never happens. No spending spree...OR PEDs...and the Sox go nowhere in 2007. Yet, the Yankees are guilty of buying their championship...this is pure comedy. Please...by all means...keep going. I'm laughing my ass off right now. The Yankees may spend money...but that's within the rules. I love how your great comeback, the great choke...is nothing but a fraud.
  8. He cited every quote and answered it in a clear and concise manner. I don't agree with the non-trade for Santana. I just said that it was well-written. I hope to read something well-written by you one day as well.
  9. This is what I'd really want to see.
  10. Actually Dipre, his post was was thought, with references cited and well written. You just don't agree with it because it's not fiction.
  11. Plus, to get Granderson, you'd probably have to take Magglio as well. Why trade ANYONE when you can bring back Damon and Matsui...for no prospects...and less money....and they outperformed that duo last year. Laughable. Or as my favorite cheeseburger maker says.... Hilarious.
  12. I am not about going after strikeout players. You saw what happens to them in the playoffs. Granderson may help you get there, but he'll be useless once you get there.
  13. You're not replacing him, you're moving him. If Youkilis was just a 1B, there would be ZERO talk of Gonzalez. HUGE f***ING DIFFERENCE HERE.
  14. I guess I stand corrected, then.
  15. I read it somewhere, I think. It does make sense, though.
  16. I am much more sold on Robertson. The guy is good. The thing is, I didn't see Joba dial it up to 98 or 99 all season..anywhere, anytime. Eh...we shall see.
  17. I challenge any Red Sox fan to claim that any Yankee victory in the last 100 year wasn't bought. I love it. This championship has turned Red Sox Nation back to what it's always been. A bunch of whining, crying babies. With few exceptions, that's what they are.
  18. Meh...I'm not sold on anyone unless they can do it for a full season. Like I said, Joba's arm strength and Hughes's blowup in the playoffs worry me. Plus, IMO Hughes was incredibly lucky last year. His control will take some time, but I am not sold on Hughes being a solid pitcher yet.
  19. No, that's not what I said. McGrady's contract expires after this season. This would allow the Knicks to sign two max contract players, possibly Bosh or Wade in addition to Lebron. The addition of McGrady would allow the subtraction of Curry, and more salary cap relief at the end of the season. It is inconsequential how good or bad McGrady is. Sigh.....
  20. Why not? I haven't heard anyone here talking about replacing Pedroia or Youkilis.
  21. I didn't look at Scutaro's career. Big deal. I don't really follow shortstops. We've been solid there for 15 years or so, if I'm not mistaken.
  22. True. Maybe he's not worth it. He just seems to hit .900 against us.
  23. Ah...the idiocy of it all. If the Knicks get rid of Curry, they can sign two max players. The reason for trading Curry and Mobley for McGrady is that it actually benefits both teams. The Rockets save 9 million next year, and since they are not going to be major players in this year's market, they might as well go for it in the following season. Of course, such logic is beyond most idiots.
  24. Foolish. Scutaro would solve your SS problems for 3 years. That's not worth a pick or two?
