  1. he struck out two Yankees. It's kinda what the Yanks do. Strike out and leave runners on third with less than 2 outs
  2. Post TJS guys typically do not dominate their first season back. Same will be said for Severino if he ever comes back. Next year will be telling, but this year could be a mixed bag
  3. Dominguez with a .904 OPS in his first 9 games in A ball as an 18 yr old. They’re slow playing him, but he has immense potential
  4. Anthony Volpe has been turning heads. Turned 20 in April. Scorched A ball and got promoted to High A. Scorching the s*** out of that level too. OPS over 1.000 in both stops. 20 steals in 50 games in A ball, hasnt stolen in high A. His power has been most impressive. This kid will be a top 100 prospect by season's end
  5. Never fun when your companion crosses the rainbow bridge. This one will be high scoring. German will go 4-5 innings and allow 3-4 hits, at least 2 will be homers. All his peripherals beyond HR/9IP will be solid but he will allow 4-5 runs
  6. Dead team walking. This Yankee team sucks
  7. And Green to close is exactly why Boone should be fired
  8. Yanks C squad is playing better than the A squad. Crazy to me
  9. Luis Gil is an absolute monster. He is up to AAA now after a mid season callup and has scuffled a bit. I think he definitely belongs on the list, although it is hard to argue with the 10 you've got there. Yoendrys Gomez has rebounded well and he has big stuff. Schmidt has ace stuff but just cannot seem to stay healthy. Yankee pitching is very deep throughout the system. Yankee MIF depth is ridiculous and CF depth is solid with Pereira and Dominguez. Where the Yanks scuffle is on the CIF and COF positions in terms of big time power guys.
  10. Looks like the Sox were a wee bit embarrassed by their 6 runs scored over 3 games in the Bronx
  11. Signed or will sign 9 of their first 10 picks. Currently $670K below slot right now
  12. Cannot believe the yanks took the past two games. This team has come up small at all times this year and they could easily have rolled over vs Eovaldi and tonight. Thing is, every time this Yankee team seems to right the ship, they falter hard
  13. So it took the Yankees having a AA lineup to start moving runners over and scoring? Wtf?
  14. O’Day and Locastro seasons are over
  15. Wipe out the glimmers before Hal gives the order to improve the team
  16. Agree there. Literally a snake bit season
  17. New thread for a concern that Voit’s got a now chronic condition that could threaten his playing career?
  18. I speak Spanish and I’ll tell you something, if I had to deal with the Spanish media (or central/South American) I’d ask for an interpreter
  19. Seems a touch racist. I’ve no issue with a player wanting to talk through the media in their native language so they don’t get misinterpreted. I’m no Sanchez apoligist, but let’s get with the times.
  20. The Yankees season http://memecrunch.com/meme/DAZM/south-park-kill-me/image.jpg
  21. Really? Covid becomes a cold for people who are vaccinated if you get it, which the vaccine has done a good job of protecting people from until now. If vaccinated, you can be pretty darn sure you arent gonna end up on a ventilator from Covid. Honestly, if covid becomes a cold, I don't give a s*** if I get it. I dont think anyone would. Clearly, I would rather we get to the point where we can vaccinate all age groups before I got it, but my at risk loved ones are protected. I have seen this virus DEVASTATE people. I have intubated multiple members of the same family. I have seen young people end up dying from this. This is not a flu.
  22. Voit, Urshela, Cortes, Higashioka, Judge to the IL. The Boston Red Sox will be playing the Scranton Rail Riders. Seriously, this season is snakebit. If you dont just roll over in this series, you might as well sweep us again and put the final nail in the coffin. f*** this season
  23. This time it is truly concerning. "Bone bruise" in the knee, but they are adding a lubricating injection and maybe PRP. That's not a bone bruise. That sounds like an arthritic knee. That is ominous
  24. You didn’t have flu. You had gastroenteritis. Different viruses. “Stomach flu” isn’t influenza, it’s usually enterovirus or norovirus The covid vaccine was highly effective at preventing most variants except this one. This is the first one with a big drop in prevention but maintained protection from critical illness.
