  1. Edwar had Mora by the balls there
  2. Hughes is dominating now.
  3. I was reading the boards on redsox.com and there was actually someone who advocated for Cash to become the starting catcher. I laughed so hard I nearly puked.
  4. Hughes settling in. 3-2 after 3 and a half.
  5. 3-1. Coco shows off the water pistol
  6. MATSUI!!!!
  7. Minky got us the 2 runs, but killed a bigger inning. If Minky was on 1st, then I think Cabrera changes his mindset. Either way, nearly 50 pitches in 2 innings. We get him out by the 5th potentially and their pen is toast. Did you see those numbers? 9.6ERA last 26 games, and last night they used 7 of their 9 pen arms in an extra inning loss in Toronto. So long as Hughes stays near the plate, this game is turning in our favor.
  8. Hughes settles down, Minky smacks one off Cabrera
  9. We finished our last tough game of the season (sans the one time we face Halladay) with a 3 game L column lead. We showed once again that we are the sox daddies by taking 9 of the last 12 including the last 4 of 6 in the fens. Right now the Guardians and the Angels are tied for the 2nd best record in the league and if things break right for us, we could be starting our series in the Jake while you guys start yours in Fenway knowing you have a cross country trip or two in your future. Either way, the WC is in our hands, we have 13 games left, 6 against Baltimore without any of their pitchers, 3 in Tampa against the hapless Rays, and 4 home vs Toronto who have already packed it in. If we lose this, it would be one hell of a collapse. Oh and btw. Saying that the WC is not over is akin to saying the division is not over as we are only 4 back in the L column for the division while the Tigers are 3 back. Very similar circumstances. Both teams leading said races have cupcakes the rest of the way and it would take a monumental collapse to see a change at the top.
  10. the sox needed only one, they got it. The division is their barring a monumental collapse against the s*** of the league.
  11. that was one hell of a pitch. I actually liked the Ortiz matchup rather than the Pedroia one. Papi may have great numbers off Mo, but that is bolstered by an initial 4 for 8 (if I remember correctly) and of late he hasnt been as good off him. Plus, Mo likes lefties.
  12. 4-3, Lugo on 2nd. Ellsbury to the dish. Nothing is ever easy.
  13. Mo with the lead, its all you can ask for.
  14. there are some pitches where Gagne looks really solid, then he leaves a low 90s pitch down the middle. Even more evidence that he really needs that high 90s heat to be successful. That pitch to Cano should have been killed. If that pitch was 98, Cano doesnt even make contact.
  15. HERE HE COMES!!! http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/2563/gagnecantv6.gif
  16. 75 hours this week talies, try coming close.
  17. First ER off Chamberlain, good timing if you ask me.
  18. that is pitch #3. Havent seen the change yet.
