  1. Note to Papelbon, this is how you pitch to Russ Adams. ATTA BOY JOBA!!
  2. I wouldnt be surprised if Papi was 270 lbs. Hell, I'm 230 and Papi is WAY bigger than I am.
  3. Wells may have been awful, but he is certainly a more trained hitter who can still be dangerous. With the rotation that will be going at them, we have a pretty veteran group who can make young kids spin. I like it and think it will benefit us greatly.
  4. Gabe Kapler is filled with guts and determination
  5. I think the only thing that has born out is home field advantage.
  6. I'm just bustin balls too talies. Giving back what is comin my way, no hard feelings.
  7. and the quotes about Joba were more to mock how far the thread had gone. Maybe if you had a bit more understanding and intelligence, you would have noticed that. Try to keep up. BTW, nothing more cowardly than the hit and run. Please come back when you are mad again, what do you call this forum again? Shall we go there?
  8. GFY talies. Just because you are pissed off doesnt mean I need to watch my step. And I dont need to prove myself to you talies, enjoy what is coming to you.
  9. I will celebrate whatever they clinch when they clinch. But come October 1st, it dont mean s***. I want #27.
  10. The sox right now are going through what they went through last season around Aug 1st. The mental mistakes are absolutely debilitating. Lugo not running, Papelbon inexplicably falling behind an awful hitter, Buchholz not covering well at 1st. Poor game all around, and if the sox had played well mentally, they take the game 2-1.
  11. It wont go unnoticed, but I wont be obnoxious.
  12. I loved the fact that he couldnt keep his pants up. BTW, Joba rulz.
  13. he wont be fired, he is the perfect FO puppet.
  14. 1.5 away from normalcy. What a crazy season.
  15. The sox have now lost home field.
  16. touche. I think tonight might drive home the fact that this bullpen is totally spent. Papelbon was very uncharacteristic. Got way behind, then got lit up by a terrible hitter. The panic is palpable, it is too bad tomorrow is an off day.
  17. You cannot blame Tek for Paps dropping behind 3-0. He had to go fastball.
  18. I see it now. Buchholz is rusty, goes 6 giving up 4 runs and holds a slim lead. Delcarmen dominates the 7th, striking out the side on 10 pitches. in comes Gagne. 2 outs, nobody on, 0-2 count on Vernon Wells. he proceed to throw 15 consecutive balls. 3-0 count, Frank Thomas at the dish, bases loaded, sox up 1...where have I seen this before? Just kidding ya. I dont think Buchholz dominates tonight, but I see the sox bustin a nut all over Lisch and taking this game large.
  19. he stays next season with another offseason drama fest. Will he, wont he, will he, wont he. He'll stay, not talk to the media, and enjoy another rather productive season. Then he will sign in Queens and continue his garbage for another world class organization.
  20. Wow. I get to see Gagne in the 8th again. I DONT EVEN NEED POPCORN. The guy is about as automatic as a drunk hooker on dollar shots night.
  21. Manny's production has made him irreplaceable in Boston and his antics have made him unloadable to other teams. Sufficed to say, it is an ugly marriage that seems to have worked out to this point.
  22. Is "behind the bag" a sly way of saying *******?
