quite frankly i dont see the playoffs on either teams horizon this year. the gmen got smoking hot on defense down the stretch,adding a little bit of luck and solid qb play and they went all the way...theyre not as good this year on paper....the jets? .500 is what the vegas people think and im of the mindset that theyre not going that far. the afc east will be hard,figure buffalo and miami to be better and the pats are going to be somewhat respectable too,they could win 10 if all goes well,they could win 6 if they dont

i think the knuckleballer is the best bet based on the team we're going against. the pressure will be the same but i think knuckleballers have it easier trying to make that 1 pitch work as opposed to a rookie with a 4 pitch arsenal,all needed against the beasts in texas.

no way manny gets these same #s agaisnt the al consider the staffs he gets to see,doug davis,the entire giants sans lincecum,the rocks etc.. kyle lohse has 14 wins in the nl he isnt that good a pitcher in the al. manny will hit like he has always hit,very consistantly this is why it hurts,he has always hit with the exception of last years start,he will always hit and his #s should be better in the B league than they are in the big boys league,that doesnt mean he wouldnt produce in boston,he did...but we should expect better #s from him out there for the above mentioned reasons.
