    Are you serious? Do you really think Lowell will be as bad as last year, especially switching to a hitter's park? Do you REALLY think we're going to suffer the loss of Damon when we've added a younger, faster, and arguably BETTER center fielder in Coco Crisp? Oh, and Crisp can reach the infield with his throws, too. That's always nice to have. We've upgraded at first. We've upgraded the rotation and the bullpen. We might have even upgraded in center, like it or not. We've upgraded at second, and it's going to be pretty hard not to upgrade at short. And there's a decent chance we've upgraded at third, so just stop. And Mr. Psychic, please tell us how you know that Lowell will be up in clutch time, and that Bernie and Posada won't...

    We have our sluggers, we have Manny and Papi. The Braves got their power last year from CF, do you think they gave a crap where it was coming from or did they complain that they weren't getting homers from first? All we need out of Youk is a high OBP, we have enough power. And he sure as hell is going to give us that high OBP.

    I wouldn't expect Small and Chacon to be close to what they were last year. Glass Carl never stays healthy (hence the nickname), Wang is a ? mark, Johnson is a fair injury candidate. I'm not saying the Sox pitching staff is perfect, I'm not saying we're not going to have any injuries. But even if we do have injuries we have outstanding depth that can fill in for the normal guys, ESPECIALLY if Wells isn't traded.
