What I mean is not giving 15 million to a pitcher who can't hit 90 on the radar gun anymore and likely would have gotten beaten up in the AL east. Pedro was a star. He is no longer a #1 pitcher anymore. You simply do not award a player on past performance.
You don't use players like Marte to get bullpen help unless you are getting an ace closer in return. And Marte is really showing nothing so far with a .208 average and a .650 OPS. Pedro is hurt and who cares about him. Lowe is the one I would have kept because he is never hurt.
Not really but keep saying that. Theo ain't gonna trade anything for this team when they have so many damn holes as it is. This team is flawed beyond belief and its not worth trading anything to fix.
The Bruins have scrapped the Pooh bear third jersey's and are going back to the vintage 70's jersey's as there third jersey. They will have either the black or white one but here is what they look like.

They might be a lock for the postseason but they are far from a lock to reach the WS. And with the news about Glavine the pressure is on an aging Pedro to carry them something I don't think he can do.
Outside of the pitching not being totally healthy they still had enough offensive weapons to blow out the Kansas City's and the Tampa's of the world. There is no excuse to lose close games to those teams when they should be blowing those teams out. The season is over, just accept it. If you don't like what they are doing then don't spend the money going to fenway.
Is it the FO fault that this team can't blow out bad teams and end up losing 5 of 6 to two stiff teams in Tampa and KC. If they can't be teams like that they have no business playing in October and should sell off the free agents to be.
