amazing prospect? he is far from it. youk is an average player. if he hits .280 with 15-20 homers the red sox should be happy.

marte but is fine prospect but there are alot better prospects than him......delmon young, brandon wood, justin upton, bj upton, stephen drew, etc.....i love marte and i agree i want to keep him if we can revive this reds 3 way deal.

youkilis and it should not even be a question. snow is nothing more than a defensive replacement at this point in his career. he may get an occasional start here or there but what i want from him is a late inning defensive replacement.

i think this deal is going to fall apart.....they have issues with mota plus the leaks of the trade coming from boston about the trade.

the sox should not throw more into the deal unless they are getting some of the Guardians good prospects in return.

Guardians are trying to get more out of the red sox i bet....i would call this whole thing now because of the Guardians.

the newspapers would have told us if these players ever were coming to boston for a physical. they never did. none of them even came to boston until beckett did recently for the boston baseball writers dinner.

that is true with marte....no physical on him either. 4 players all they got was medical reports

mota, beckett, and lowell never had physicals with boston.....mota was out of the country, beckett never came up from texas and who knows where lowell was. the sox made the deal with medical reports, MRI's, medical charts but no physicals

hopefully the bruins will be closer to the playoffs by the time i go to montreal in february to see the bruins-habs game

when the sox made the beckett deal they should have gave each player a physical before the deal was made. had mota failed his physical right then and there i would have went right back to the marlins and asked for juan pierre which would have ended this entire mess. i would have had no problem with throwing in someone like abe alvarez or a kelly shoppach on top of anibal, hanley, harvey garcia, and jesus delgado if it netted us juan pierre.

i wouldn't make that trade. the D was their weak point to begin with. they need both hannu and raycroft to get healthy ASAP and then trade raycroft for scoring help.

timlin is better than riske. timlin can handle boston....we have no idea if riske even can

id rather have either garko, snyder, or miller instead of riske.

how about like when john from medford called in and said he would gladly throw jon lester in the deal instead if manny delcarmen because he saw delcarmen pitch in the majors already. i mean how stupid are these callers that are so called red sox fans.

riverside that is alittle more reasonable deal if the Guardians give us one of their top guys. but if not scrap this whole thing and lets move on to either reed, michaels, or matos.

i hope theo comes to save the day and squashes this whole thing. there is no reason to even through in 3 of our top 10 prospects and getting really only crisp in return. either they give us garko or synder or call this deal off.
