when i posted that it was reported that he failed his phyisical with the Guardians even though he didn't really fail it. the Guardians raised questions in order to get more out of boston. the red sox did the same thing with the marlins in the beckett deal.

the celtics are a really bad team. they have absolutely no direction. they just need to play the young kids all the time.

riske is not an upgrade over a healthy mota. if mota reverts to his time with the dodgers then he is a much better pitcher than riske.

the red sox had targeted coco crisp a year and half ago because they knew damon would command big money and guess what the red sox front office was right. he went for the big money.

the farm has been in the best shape its been in years and with 7 of the top 100 picks in this years draft it is only going to get better if the sox scout and draft correctly.

If he is on the Opening Day roster, his $3 million becomes guaranteed.
