the pirates might have been bad but at least there is a hope for the future with solid young pitching...more than I can say for the royals whose farm system is alex gordan, billy butler and thats about it.

Today is the day i know baseball close to starting as the red sox equiptment truck leaves fenway park for fort myers. Good thing the storm was yesterday. Not much longer until pitchers and catchers.

if i remember the red sox have carried 12 pitchers back north in april before.

durazo has no position as he only can DH and we already have a DH. some other team will take a flyer on durazo.

for the red sox its not....depends on what kind of prospect it is....it could be one that is in low A ball that has a very high upside...the red sox can afford to dump graff at 1/6 the cost. but they more than likely trade him before that.

2.05 million i believe....sox should trade him for some prospects....there should be teams calling about him soon....i know texas and baltimore have had some interest and i believe one national league team as well.

in order to receive a first round pick and a sandwich if somebody signed him....it backfired. they took the chance and it backfired. once they got loretta graffanino had no spot anymore so it was likely they would trade him and i still believe they will depending on what they get back.

i want just enough ping pong balls where they maybe have a chance at morrison. maybe be the 5th or 6th worst team in the league. hey the spurs were not the worst in 1997 when they won the lottery.

all i know is if the celtics make the playoffs i will be pissed....im not going to sit there and watch them get pasted by the pistons when they should be a lottery team.

i know how the lottery works....the celts got screwed in 1997 when they had two chances to win the lottery and ended up with the 3rd and 6th picks. they had 15 wins that year. the worse a team is the more ping pong balls you get so being like the 10th-13th worse team gives the celtics little to no shot of being in the top 3.

the knicks are playing real bad.....so bad that jalen rose couldn't even inbound the ball with like 5 seconds left and it cost the knicks the game. they are bad and their gm is even worse.

actually the knicks might finish worse than the bobcats but too bad since isiah traded that pick lottery unprotected they won't see it.

right now there two best young players are out.....what the hell is the point of winning.....i want morrison and the more the celtics lose the better chance we can get him. we have been rebuilding for years. its time the celtics finally had the number pick in the draft.

i want to see them play well individually and if they lose then fine but i don't want this team to get to 30 wins if they have a chance at a top 5 pick.

id rather not have this team anywhere near the playoff race as that would kill there draft position. the celts need to get a top 5 pick instead of getting whipped in the first round by the pistons.

the celts need to lose because they really are not going to go anywhere this year and i want to maybe win the lottery somehow and get adam morrison even though this is a weak draft.

the reason no one has been talking about it is because no one probably cares.

the difference of why griffey was given the chance to play again and why juan gone won't get a chance is that the reds are not going to let griffey ride the pine for the type of money he is making and he can somewhat still play the outfield something gonzalez can't do anymore. frankly i will pass.

juan gonzalez has nothing left and i would rather play young kids than sign an aging bum like him.

i would rather stay away from a huge injury risk like juan gonzalez who can't even play the outfield anymore. he is a DH even if he is healthy which the past few years he has not been. his career is pretty much over.
