    they should.....little league teams in new england have plenty of major league teams to choose from so their is no reason to even use the yankees.

    they also will have one of the worst defensive infields in the AL east. right now for they jays to make the playoffs they need everything to go right. I still think they are behind Boston and New York until they prove otherwise.

    my first game was the halos that season in i think april or may. al nipper was pitching. it was glove day at fenway park as they gave all the kids gloves entering the park. sox got killed but it was still fun getting a free glove.

    i doubt he will repeat those numbers while being thrusted into a pressure environment and in a real pennant race. he is an average to below average reliever over his career. hes not someone who scares anyone when he is on the mound.

    villone is a journeyman who has pitched everywhere. he is not someone i would even consider relying on as a good lefthander

    the yankees don't do it because they do not need the extra revenue. they make plenty on yankee ticket sales, merchandise, concessions, and the YES network. the red sox do these extra little things because they are not the cash cow like the yankees are.
