    julio lugo is....he has a higher obp. crawford is better in the 2 hole than at leadoff.

    personally i like crawford in the number 2 hole better even though he has great speed. he does not have a high enough obp where he should hit leadoff.

    this is likely the end for ricky in the NFL. if he is to serve a 1 yr suspension like it said in the report i would doubt he would return after that.

    he definitely deserves to be jumped to Portland because right now he is ahead of chad spann on the 3B depth chart and he really needs the challenge.

    i like pinckney. he is an underdog type of player because of where he was drafted. he has nice power potential at a corner position. the only concern i have about him are that he is old for a prospect who has never been above low A ball. he is going to be 24 this season and he will either be in wilmington or portland and that is old for either of those leagues. i would like the red sox to start him in portland to challenge him to see if 2005 was not a fluke.

    with marte out of the system in the crisp trade he moves up to #1 for baseball america's top red sox propsects.

    it all depends on if the red sox move pedroia back to shortstop or not. lowrie did play the majority of his lowell season at shortstop so signing loretta to an extension means that lowrie is switched back to second and pedroia to short.

    even if they make the medal round their next opponent will be either the likes of Finland or Canada and I don't think the US has what it takes to beat either of those teams. The US just doesn't have enough scoring to be a big medal threat.

    its not a surprise at all. there are many great teams in the tournament and sweden is one of them

    canada easily outplayed the swiss. even though they didn't score they carried the play for the entire game. two disallowed goals. they outshot the swiss 26-1 in the third period. it was just a great goaltending performance by gerber.

    it was a very entertaining game to watch even though the US lost. alot of action and play was up and down the ice. a very fast moving game. the US needs to cut down a bit on turnovers in their own zone as slovakia got a few chances because of those turnovers.

    the old 7 team division like they had pre 1994......or you could have the wild cards from each divsion play the division winner from the other division.
