  1. If Salty was behind the plate, he throws that into LF and a run scores.
  2. Bradley half way to a cycle.
  3. 4 first inning runs. I am not used to this. Somewhat unchartered waters for us.
  4. Bradley taking the pitch the other way too!!
  5. Nice approach by Middlebrooks going the other way with that pitch. That is exactly how you hit Buehrle.
  6. Nice break on that hit. Second and third rally.
  7. I had some very lively debates with Elk when he first joined the board. I recollect that we had a protracted debate about the dangers of being in downtown Baltimore at night. We should give him a chance. The guy knows his baseball, and he is a pretty smart guy. Can't we tolerate new posters over age 15? If he deliberately trolls us, that will become evident soon enough.
  8. These concerns based on your observations are reasonable and valid. I think a lot of us share these concerns.
  9. Maybe he is sitting because of the artificial turf.
  10. Farrell stated that Buch is still building arm strength. Spring training is 6 weeks long. You would think that would be ample time to build arm strength.
  11. We still don't know what caused the fractured vertebrae a few years back.
  12. That's right. A lot of people were to trade him Wil Myers. The FO made the right call on Lester. The issue with Lester was never his durability as it is with Buchholz. Personally, if Buch can give us 180 innings this year with good results, I would be tempted to sell high on him due to the durability issue. It will not be an easy call for the FO.
  13. Bells gave a good honest answer. Who knows? I don't. The FO should, but the sarcastic class will certainly use this thread as material even though they take no position at all on the issue. 20- 20 hindsight provides for the best sarcasm.
  14. Doubs was very disappointing tonight. As usual, the 7 run rule was in effect for the brain dead managerial class.
  15. It will be nice to have him back in the lineup.
  16. And if you keep the mojo going, there will continue to be no negativity, unless someone goads Fred with phony rumors of Stephen Drew signing with us.
  17. A game thread with no negativity. Wow! Da ya think beating the Yanks had anything to do with that? Go figure. If they play good ball, there is nothing bad to say.
  18. Did I hear correctly that Tanaka said in an interview that it would be possible to go 24-0in MLB?
  19. In the cold weather, there isn't enough sweat. Most pitchers who commented yesterday said that they put it inside the belt buckle out of sight. Guy is just a dope.
  20. I was right about the first part of this. The second part was a little bit off. Pineda didn't have a dead arm. He was brain dead instead. LOL!
  21. Jeter has nothing on his throws tonight.
  22. Maybe Holt will be 2014's version of 2013 Nava.
  23. 10 minutes is a great commute. I am 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 HRs each way. My daughters group opted to have off every other Friday instead of a half day every Friday.
