    Two runners thrown out on the bases in one inning. 5 base runners and we score 1 run in that inning. That is the type of crap that comes back to bite you. For those who hate to hear Ellsbury's name, he does not get gunned at the plate in that case. Bradley is no burner like Ells.

    Yes, he is very good. I just took issue with the statement that he is by far the best defensive OFer on the Sox. I don't agree with that.

    I don't need metrics to convince me that Victorino is an exceptional OFer. I watched a lot of him when he was with the Phillies. If the metrics show that he is the better OFer, the metrics are just confirming what I already knew.

    Buchholz's precipitous fall off in performance is one of the major reasons for the difference between 2013 and 2014 Red Sox. Last year, Buch was almost a sure thing for the first couple of months of the season. Couple that with lester's turnaround and set the 2013 Red Sox on a very hot start.
