    I am not defending everything he says or does. I am just pointing out that the ridicule started by kimmi and piled on by you came first in this instance. Not everyone reacts as well to ridicule as you do. You didn't like his reaction, and I am not defending it. I am just pointing out that ridiculing someone as " a Goober " is also childish, and it knocks you off any moral high ground to complain about his reaction. I on the other hand can pass judgment on both of you. lol!

    Pete, I think you have the sequence of events mixed up. The ridicule I.e., the Goober remark followed by the picture (you know if it was meant as ridicule) preceded the insults according to my reading of things.

    I think Masterson is toast. He has not increased his velocity since the first week of Spring Training, so I don't think it is an issue of building arm strength. This was his velocity last year. The bigger problem is the lack of depth behind him.
