  1. In light of our pitching performance this season, this should have been a serious discussion thread from the beginning, as the title of the thread now seems almost prophetic. Two or 3 jackholes turned it into a flame fest. If you want to throw in with them, that's your choice.
  2. It was nice to get a victory before going to the West Coast. Hopefully, the late nights and loss of sleep will be rewarded with some victories. Oakland has been sucking it too. They are rumored to be interested in trading Kazmir. It would be worth kicking the tires on him.
  3. I saw Spring hit a bomb or 2 in Fort Myers in March.
  4. Good point. Shaughnessy doesn't speak for me.
  5. Iortiz, be careful there are a hundred or so burning hot suns of hatred from him. ^ lol!
  6. Aw, you are such an innocent victim. Lol! I' ll stay an employed dinosaur while you get fired time and again for being a misanthrope. You are such a dick that insulting me is not enough. Talk about unprovoked. Edit: And those who don't care about what I have to say would rather potshot me like cowards rather than ignore me.
  7. Lol! Calm down. He was reminding me that we won a Championship in 2013. I was reminding me that it would be hard for me to forget.
  8. I think Nava will be the odd man out when Victorino gets activated. I also think Nava will clear waivers and accept an assignment to Pawtucket.
  9. He hit well in AAA and earned another shot thanks to injuries and under performance by the other OFers. I hope that he gets a few hits early on to boost his confidence. This is likely his last shot with us if he doesn't perform.
  10. It's baseball. It's always fun, no matter what decade and even if your team is in last place. There 's no need to pretend your team is good when they aren't good. They are still your team and baseball is still fun.
  11. He finished with 16 k's and 0 walks.
  12. I was at Fenway for the World Championship.
  13. We have no one with that stuff. It still pisses me off that you got an arm like this for that pig Montero.
  14. I heard the radio announcers talking about a leg issue with Buch. Is that why he came out of the game?
  15. Bradley is a phenomenal fielder, but he has some competition from Lagares on the Mets. People need to see him.
  16. Bradley was over anxious in his first AB. The kid needs not to press.
  17. what is it with the walks by this staff?
  18. Hopefully, Buch can hold the lead. He has good velocity but that has not been his problem.
  19. If Napoli breaks out of his funk, the offense will look much different.
  20. Napoli looked like he was breaking out of things yesterday. That was a nice bomb.
  21. Mujics to the A's for a PTBNL and some salary relief.
  22. I think the players only meeting was a good idea to keep guys from checking out mentally. I agree that there are no talent problems with the lineup. There are plenty of options with the offense. They just need to find the right combinations and for a few guys to come out of their funk. You lose me on the pitching. There is a huge talent deficit in the rotation IMO. I don't think they are good enough to keep the team competitive even when the offense kicks in. The staff needs changes.
  23. It was the only option that the Red Sox had with him. He was not getting on track with the big club. We have to pay him anyway, so let him see if he can figure out things in AAA. He has no trade value other than nominal. The fact that there is $100 million in the AAA outfield while the big club is in last place is bizarre.
