  1. Excellent incisive point.
  2. Yeah, sure he is done. Just an obnoxious douche from the word go.
  3. f*** off U.N. Put him on ignore if you don't like reading Fred. As far as I can see, he has said nothing against you, but you go right after him. Cut your obnoxious s***.
  4. Hey Fred! Welcome back. I look forward to you livening up this place. The baseball has been depressing.
  5. I am prepared to make each of the game threads. I will be very disappointed if our batters don't pummel Pelfrey this time.
  6. The PA should favor Double Headers because they could add 5 off days to the schedule. Sometimes groups stubbornly oppose measures that would help them.
  7. Hey E-1, good to see you. You picked up on the conversation as if you had been here all season long. Excellent points. I share most of your thoughts. This team has needed another pitcher since day one. Now, it is becoming obvious that 2 pitchers are needed. Hopefully, Rodriguez fills one of those spots and we acquire the other one by trade. I don't think we can stand pat and make a run.
  8. MIN: Mike Pelfrey (4-1, 2.77) BOS: Clay Buchholz (2-6, 4.33) Game Time 7:10 After a day off on account of Monday's rain out, the Sox will be rejuvenated.
  9. Pal, any thoughts on my trade offer?
  10. The month of June will bring better fortune if Ben makes some moves. Staying pat will not get it done, and they will be more likely to swoon further than to improve.
  11. Double Headers may be the way to go. Teams could charge a little more for the double header tickets to offset any revenue loss.
  12. MIN: Mike Pelfrey (4-1, 2.77) BOS: Clay Buchholz (2-6, 4.33) Game Time 7:10 Back at Fenway for a week long homestand. Fenway should wake up the bats. Buch needs to continue his recent good performances.
  13. We will have to see how they turn out. I think it is fair to say that our farm system has been in a drought period for some time.
  14. Our most successful first rounf pick in recent history was Daniel Bard (2006). That is not a good record.
  15. Old Timers Day at Wrigley will be a real bummer this year.
  16. Last place in ERA is not enough to sustain a team over the course of a season in a post steroid age. It doesn't matter what your offense does. The key is the last part of your post. We need a couple of new starters. That is all we need. Our hitting will do enough over the course of the season.
  17. It would have been a plus if we had won. Now, we are going to keep with a six man rotation for another turn?
  18. He should have enough sense to manage his own weight.
  19. Seriously though, he has around $100 million. Hire a nutritionist/chef. Have some professional pride for crying out loud. It's tough enough to play this game when you are in condition.
  20. I hear that he looks quite slim in a suit. Maybe we should go for new uniforms.
  21. Send Ben an email and tell him to package him with Pedroia.
  22. Panda gave the game away with the error. It set up Fielder and Hamilton. Neither one is an easy out for Koji.
  23. Fielder is like a sprinter compared to our fat Panda.
  24. Farrell probably forgot that Josh Hamilton was on the bench today. LOL!! I'd still have walked Fielder. He is red hot.
