I don't think they do. If there was a thought of making such a move, we would be hearing that Hanley was working out at first base. They are going to stubbornly stick to this failed LF experiment. He is taking forever just to be serviceable out there, because he has terrible OF instincts. It is like the Bard situation. Everyone could tell that he was flushing down the toilet. Bobby V knew it. The only two that didn't know we're Bard and Ben. Ben stuck stubbornly to the experiment until it was humiliating and embarrassing.
I could tell seeing him one day in person in Spring Training that he was going to have major problems. If I could see it (and I have progressive lenses), how could the coaches not see it, or did they see it and hoped for the best.
