    We have no players with bad contracts that could help anyone. Porcello is a terrible contract, but a 6 ERA will not help anyone down the stretch. Someone might want Napoli or Koji for a month, but those will not becbig deals. I am with Pete on this. There is nothing big coming to or leaving the Sox for the remainder of the season. They threw in the towel regarding adding players and we really have very little to sell. Pathetic.

    My mistake --a typo Yanks are up 12-3. Are you at the Mets game? Flores just won it with a walk off Home Run.

    The FO pulled the plug on the season by doing nothing to help the team by the deadline. They had less faith than many in their fanbase.

    The downer game of the night is the Yankees kicking the tar out of the White Sox 12-3 in the 6 th inning.

    Donaldson with the walk off hit for the Jays in the 11th inning against the Royals, or as Ben calls Donaldson: "Who?"

    Lots of exciting games tonight. Starling Marte just made a diving catch for the last out in the 9th inning with the winning runs on base. The Mets are in the 10 th inning against the Nats. KC and the Jays are knotted at 6 in the 11 th inning. Baltimore has come back to take an 8-7 lead against the tigers in the 9th inning.

    Mets fans are very skeptical. The ownership has been less than aggressive for years now. They need a couple of Nats and the team could be special.

    Yes, that's him. He has a bad elbow (probably needs TJ) so he can't throw very well right now.

    Four straight hits by the fearsome Blue Jays offense against the Royals pen. Tulo, Donaldson and Bsutista with consecutive lasers and the Royals lead is cut to 6-5 with runners at first and third with no one out. Royals go to the pen again.

    Harvey is still leading the Nats 1-0. Lagares just made a very nice catch on a ball over his head. Curious to get RSFFLs opinion on Lagares. He can go and get them as well as anyone.

    No. He relieve ER. He just threw a shut down inning after we took the lead. Whew!

    Cueto with 6 innings and 111 pitches against a very tough Blue Jays lineup. KC is leading 5-3. They will need 3 innings from their superb bullpen.
