Bradley with a Home Run a Triple and 5 RBI and a circus Catch at the wall. Easily his best day as a big leaguer. Let's hope this is the start of something.

This is who we thought Bradley was. Hopefully, he will get hot before Betts comes back, because he will be back on the bench when Betts returns.

A gem of a catch by Bradley about 420 feet from home plate. He made it look sooo easy. He looked like Willie Mays on that catch. If he could just hit .250!

He is a big man and an older player who has had leg issues in recent years. Over a 162 game schedule, even the legs of a DH get pretty sore. He has nothing to prove. I don't need to see him run hard on a one hopper to the pitcher and risk blowing a tire. Our offense is still centered around him. No one works harder at his craft-- and that is hitting and hitting for power. That's enough for me.

Assuming that Hanley could be converted to the outfield without ever having seen him in the outfield was a decision made in the dark. Assuming that Masterson would regain lost velocity without going to see him throw was an astonishing failure of the FO to do its homework. I don't care to hear any stats or stories about pitchers regaining velocity. Before you sign him to a $9million contract, you ask him to throw for you. He wasn't in a secret location for national security reasons or in a high security prison. You pick up the phone and tell his agent that you want to see him throw, and tell the agent how long you want the session to be and what you want to see him do. The Masterson signing was worse than operating in the dark. It was negligence.

they might just be happy to get rid of his contract. If we take most or all of the contract, we may only have to throw in a lottery ticket from A ball.

They have an opportunity to experiment without any repercussions, but they are waiting and waiting and rolling with the same garbage that got us to this point. -
That would not be a bad combination at all. People here are very down on him. I would like to see more, before I bury him.

I was just talking about the aspect of the ball coming off his bat. That is what reminds me of a young Reddick.

In the 6th inning, Smoak hit a grand slam off a tiring Nova to take a 4-0 lead with Price on the mound.

Everyone seems to think that he is AAA trash. I have seen him in Spring Training and I have liked that the ball jumps off his bat. In some ways he reminds me of Reddick when he was a prospect.

Some people blame the poor condition of this team on reactive moves made to please the fanbase. You seem to be saying the opposite.

We have almost 50 games left in a lost season. We have an opportunity to see what he can do before entering the post season. He can't hurt us now. They should try it.
