  1. It seemed like a DWP situation-- drinking while posting.
  2. Recently, he got his 100th career RBI. When I heard that, I was surprised that he played enough anywhere to get 100 RBI. I keep getting mixed up and I call him Jeff Rutledge.
  3. Betts with a Home Run for 2-0 lead. Let's put up a crooked number this inning.
  4. Bradley's bat is so hot that it is glowing! 1-0 on Bradley's Home Run.
  5. The top of the first started very well -- 2 on and one out with Ortiz and Hanley coming up. Ortiz just missed a 3 run HR and Hanley hits into a DP.
  6. Let's win this game! Volquez vs. Price
  7. Plus, they lost 3 of 4 to the Yankees.
  8. I thought Hanley had hit it out when the ball left his bat. It was hit to the deepest part of the ballpark.
  9. Talk about the game game and the strategy. Commenting on posters is not interesting or productive, but it seems to have been in the DNA of the BDC board.
  10. I stepped away and missed the Young Homer. It is about time that he didn't look helpless against a RH.
  11. I know very little about video games, but my son is very knowledgeable about them and he shared your opinion about his game.
  12. Young continues to be helpless against RHP.
  13. That's what they cost, because they are so good. Cherries spent a lot of money on garbage. Take Panda's and Castillo's $168 million and that was more than enough to retain Lester.
  14. Hosmer gets us again. Down 2-0 in the first inning.
  15. My understanding is that he did hire top professionals. He was putting together a good game, but they simply fell way short of funds.
  16. On the pre-game radio show, they said that Smith is still feeling his elbow grab. They predicted that the DL will be in the not too distant future for him.
  17. He got to keep the house, but probably could not afford the taxes.
  18. And he was the only one worth listening to in the ESPN booth.
  19. I don't know. I guess that as an athlete he was able to succeed through hard work and sheer will, and that he thought he could approach business in the same way. That is just a guess.
  20. Those are some pretty significant acquisitions. If you dropped them all off the roster as of today, don't you think this team's prospects would take a major hit?
  21. We can also predict that Buchholz will start his off season by the All Star Break, creating another vacancy.
