There is no need to shift on a horseshit hitter who can barely hit .200.
-
I was thinking the same thing.
-
WTH with that play by Hernandez??
-
I held my breath too.
-
Popups are not Hanley's strength.

Offenses will always have slumps. You cant be losing games when you score 8 and 9 runs, which has happened too often thus far.
-
Nomar and PEDs is pure smear without any evidence. It is garbage.

You don't really hear about Russell much in the discussion of the greatest player of all-time, except by some old hardcore Celtics fans. I don't think there is much dispute that Russell was the greatest defender in history, but I don't see him in too many discussions of "greatest player". A big part of that is that defense doesn't get proper recognition. Of those players commonly in that discussion of greatest player like Jordan, Bird, Magic, Jabbar, Kobe, West, etc, LeBron is by far the best defender. Edit: I don't want to burst anyone's bubble in Boston, but Russell wasn't even close to the player that Wilt the Stilt was.

It is almost impossible for Bradley to lose in any comparison as he cost nothing, so that doesn't show me how well the team has deployed its resources. Comparing the acquisition of Castillo to Ellsbury would show me how well the FO has deployed their resources. If Castillo had come out guns blazing in 2014, he might have won the CF job. He had the opportunity.

Since Bradley cost the red Sox nothing, maybe the more appropriate comparison would be Ellsbury vs. Castillo.
-
That is usually the way things happen, but he has never had much success facing the Red Sox at Fenway, so I remain hopeful.
-
You would name the team after him.
-
Thankfully, he still has enough speed to outrun many of his bonehead mistakes, but he is a knucklehead on the bases.
-
I look forward to your observations. Have fun.

The only criticism that I ever had of LeBron was his going to Miami and bringing an All Star team with him. I don't think there was anything special about him winning championships in Miami, but this championship establishes him in my opinion as an all time great. That blocked shot that he had at the end was unbelievable. He is a different type of player from the others who are discussed in the greatest of all time discussion. He is probably the greatest defender of any player in that conversation.

O'Sullivan is a feel good story that he got to pitch for the Red Sox this season. That he pitched for the Red Sox this season is an indication of how pathetic the Red Sox pitching depth is.
-
Two in a row. Keep it up!
-
And defending champion.
-
Wow!! LeBron did it. He brought the title to Cleveland, and he had to beat the best team ever to do it and be the first team to overcome a 3-1 deficit. Wow!! Congrats, to King James.

Kimbrel is the best in the game. If you get the best for some guys that are not your top prospects, that is a good acquisition.

Game 7 is going down to the wire. Points are hard to come by. Curry is off tonight and Thompson is having difficulty too. Lebron is having to work very hard for his points. It is going to come down to which team wants this more.
-
It is a move to get him off the 40 man roster like they did with Alan Craig last year. No one will claim him, because he comes with a $50 million price tag, but clearly the Red Sox want nothing to do with him.
-
They are a good team, but I don't think they will win 112 games
-
I don't know if we have had any enigmas, but we have had too many flops.
-
Good job by Porcello today.
