  1. I think quoting you in my signature has gone to your head. LOL!
  2. Quoting and agreeing with yourself these days?
  3. And that is what I would take into consideration when deciding to exercise his option. His entire body of work this season and not his last 2 months.
  4. Sure. Round is a shape.
  5. I am not so sure that pitchers over 30 blow out their arms more often than pitchers under 30. You will have to get over not liking big long contracts for pitchers. In my lifetime, we have drafted and developed 2 star pitchers -- Clemens and Lester. We can't depend on scouting and pitcher development for our pitching.
  6. His ERA is still comfortably above 5
  7. They blow out their arms too.
  8. I know I a guy that blew out both knees skiing and he went to the airport flew home and had his double reconstructive knee surgery in NY, so I don't think we can take to much encouragement from the fact that he is walking around. However, it is not a bad sign either.
  9. Chris Young was trying to steal per JF -- no missed sign. WTH, he was out by 25 feet.
  10. There is nothing that you can do about a game like this. You can't win them all. Hitting will slump and so will pitching, but there is no excuse for stupidity and sloppiness. Two of the losses on this trip were given away with stupidity. I am sorry, but that is how I see it.
  11. He will have to battle out of this. Hopefully, he will break out of it soon.
  12. I love that Farrell uses the end of our bullpen in clean innings when we are behind, but not when we have the lead.
  13. LOL!! How many outs do we make on the bases?
  14. One thing that we going for us is that Tampa has a vintage idiot in their dugout. Cash could steal a loss from the jaws of victory. He may pull Odorizzi
  15. Idiocy on the bases will cut short another inning.
  16. Farrell team base running.
  17. Not yet. I will let you know when he f***s up. You clearly can't tell when that happens.
  18. Yes, his bat probably needs a whirlpool and a rubdown.
  19. He is at 78 pitches. Let's hope that Farrell doesn't blow up the end of this game.
  20. More stupid managing having the runners on the move there. The runner would have been out by 15 feet.
  21. Not catching is a day off. Plus, Hill sucks.
  22. I do. He pushed Porcello beyond his career high in pitches when his late inning guys were ready to go, so yes, I call it very poor management.
