While Buch, Pom and ERod have not been models of consistency, I think Pom has been the most consistent. Until his last start, his prior 7 starts since the beginning of August have been very consistent. ERod has been very spotty over his last 4 starts since the hamstring injury. Buch has only had 6 starts since July 1st and in half of them he was Bad Clay.

Clay did fine, but he is a crapshoot. He can't be trusted to start a big game.

imo, it was CC who acted like a miserable douche while he was in Boston. I am glad that he returned to the racially tolerant LA when he left Boston. -

Gardner tosses out lots of base runners.

3 hits and a HBP and we get one run. The pitcher didn't gotten an out due to base running, unless they over rule the call on Betts.

I despise him. I watch his pressers and the guy is a prick, but he is a good manager. He doesn't care that his FO threw in the towel on the season. He never gives away games and does everything tactically to help them win. He is always on top of the game.

He did a good job of getting ERod out of the game before he blew up the game. 7 run rule be damned. There are you happy?

They do play hard for him. They are professionals and you would hope that they always play hard. More importantly, they respect him.

This was the most exciting September game in a long long time.

Very exciting!!! Everything went right in that last inning. In the top half of the inning Kelly almost blew up the game. He snagged a 110 MPH liner at his head with bases loaded and 2 outs.

Luckily he swung at the bad 2-0 pitch or he would have walked!!
