In my 50 years of following them, they have developed 2 -- Clemens and Lester.

DD gets it done. He doesn't pussy foot around. He gets top shelf guys for us to watch, and people complain. I guess they prefer running out to the mound the Mileys, Kellys, Mastersons, Dubronts, Dempsters, and Aaron Cooks to Price and Sale. This is the best 1-2 punch since Pedro and Schilling in 2004, and with Porcello, it is the best 1-2-3 punch in my long memory. And people are unhappy about 2020?

But then you wouldn't get him. This is a top 5 pitcher at age 27 who makes around what Buchholz makes and we have him for 3 seasons. He wasn't going to be had for some lottery tickets. It was going to take a bue chip can't miss player in return.

DD is not the type to show his hand to the Press. If Koji stays unsigned and the price is right, I would not be surprised if DD signed Koji again.

DD is a wheeler dealer. He doesn't go for some half baked player. He goes for and gets the top stud. Benny Boy never pulls the trigger on a trade like this... never.

Red Sox fans are a strange breed. We land the on of the top 5 starters in baseball with an extremely favorable contract for a guy that has no position next season on the Red Sox and a pitcher that is a few years away and people are worried. LOL!!

Lopez was very unimpressive last year, and Giolito has been developing at a slower rate than had been anticipated. Turner is the one sure thing, and if they want to get Sale and McCuthchen, they will have to part with Turner imo. -

Nats are looking to land Sale and McCutchen. I don't see how they can do both deals without parting with Trea Turner.
