  1. I was surprised at the number of Philly fans at Fenway tonight. As fans of a last place losing team, they aren't nearly as obnoxious as I had remembered.
  2. I was in the first base standing room area when Kimbrel was pitching. I was about even with the pitcher's mound so Panda was directly in my view. On the line drive, I could see the he made a very quick cross over step and a dive to snare it. It was an excellent play, bu he was very slow to react on the bot he'd ground ball. It was awful. He just cannot play 3B anymore.
  3. The great GG strikes again!
  4. No problem. Should I just Deposit it to you meal account?
  5. Another starter with 60+ pitches in the 3rd inning. WTH!
  6. Ben dismantled a Championship starting staff and brought back nothing. I hope he enjoys getting coffee in Toronto.
  7. Not Freddie Lynn-like but the homer was!
  8. True, but if you lose, I have found it hard to find losers when it comes time to pay. LOL!
  9. How could Benintendi not get that ball. Terrible jump and he didn't even come hard for it.
  10. He reminds me of Mike McCormick who came up very young to the big leagues and was mediocre until age 28 when he won the Cy Young for the SF Giants with 22 wins and 2.85 ERA. Everyone thought that he had found himself. In the years that ensued, he never found it again.
  11. Says he who is watching the game on air conditioned comfort.
  12. Thanks. 2016 was an aberration for Porcello. He is a career 4 ERA pitcher period.
  13. Cashman has 2 more World Championships than Theo.
  14. Send the dues and I will take your motion under consideration. LOL!
  15. Porcello is sucking again. I can't believe that I am wasting my "at the game " mojo on this turd and sitting on 90 heat.
  16. I don't know why he didn't let Pom take care of his own mess. He works out of trouble pretty well and is very capable of getting the K when needed
  17. And his was the best start of our pitchers in the Yankee series.
  18. I need to see if Rutledge can hold down the position defensively and offensively. I don't need to get a sample size on Pablo. He just can't field the position anymore. He is not learning the position. He just can't field it adequately anymore.
  19. i didn't say dump Pablo tomorrow. I would just keep playing Rutledge until he loses the job. If he can hold down the job until the ASB, I would dump Pablo. Is a month long enough to satisfy you or is it still too SSS. In either case, the answer is not Pablo. He simply cannot field the position adequately.
  20. They roll over for the Yankees and they play is like every game is the 7th game of the World Series.
  21. If Rutledge keeps hitting, I'd cut Pablo loose. You just can't put that beach ball in the field. He's terrible.
  22. we are not hitting HRs. That is how to score runs in today's game with all these shifts. You can't get enough hits on the ground anymore, so the players are lifting the ball and the advantage goes to the big guys when hitting the ball in the air. The correlation of OBP to run production is no longer as direct in today's game. The importance of the HR is increasing. I don't know where the break even point is but I would be willing to give up 15 percentage points on OBP to be the top HR team.
  23. My son in law gets TV through PlayStation Vue and I don't think it has Fox. Damn!
