    I will make my usual Porcello prediction. If he keeps he ball in the park, we should win -- 80% probability. If he gives up 1 HR, we have a chance (50% probability of a win). If he gives up 2 or more, it will not be a good day (20% probability of winning).

    Cora blew one game that he should have secured in the win column. He's off to a bad start. The last time we hired a manager who was supposed to represent the next generation of managerial geniuses he was the worst manager in my lifetime. He eventually started forgetting his son at the ballpark and got arrested for trafficking cocaine through the mail and was on the way to another last place finish had the baseball strike not interceded. I don't buy hype, and I don't care if a manager is likable and gets good press. He can't blow games like yesterday's game.

    He said everything right except acknowledging that he sat there and reacted too slowly costing his team the game. how trite that he is going to turn the page as if he has any other choice. just a bunch of excuses, not really much different from what came out of Farrell's mouth after games -- just a different vocabulary. Farrell tried to make it soun like he was a baseball PhD.
