    Lin's play was debatable, and it was debated here. Swihart's play was inexcusable. This guy has to start bringing something to the table soon besides his athleticism to keep his roster spot. It is more than halfway through the season and he has done nothing to earn his roster spot except to be out of options.

    So Swihart stinks and he is stupid too. That is inexcusable.

    They are in love with this guy and are stubbornly holding onto him when he has no role. He didn't look bad behind the plate in his last game, but the jury is still out. We will see what happens when teams make him throw the ball.

    Betts and JD and they are separated by a utility player.

    If he started to pull up the base runners might have been hung out to dry, but it would have been one out not 2. Playing it a third of the way was the right play, imo.

    Again Holt between Betts and JD to end an inning?

    At 30 feet away, if Lin starts leaning back toward 2nd when he goes into his tumble and starts running back to 2nd as his is in his tumble, I think he gets back to 2nd in about 1 1/2 seconds or less. By the time Millar regains his feet to make that flip, Lin is probable diving in safely, imo.

    Agreed. Rookie mistake.

    I am not a fan of putting Holt between Betts and JD. I don't believe in "lengthening" the batting order by sticking an inferior hitter in the middle of the good hitters. It has to hurt run production.

    Another example of why JD doesn't hurt you out there. I guess that Cora has no plans to use Nunez in the OF.

    We should be bashing this bum, but we have our minor league bottom of the order playing today.

    His overall record on building pitching at all levels of the organization was horrible.
