  1. Rivernator has convinced me. I am very concerned about Schilling.
  2. The big boys coming up this inning.
  3. Cora blows. He's just lucky that the Yankee IF is full of holes, especially on the right side.
  4. a buck and a quarter--what a disgrace! and now it is lower. He doen't deserve a roster spot. I'd rather have Pena swin one-handed.
  5. Giambi looked like a spaz on that play at first. I think his unusually large head throws off his balance.
  6. Who called Manny's break out for tonight? Take your props.
  7. SO much for mANNY'S POWER OUTAGE! wHAT A BLAST!
  8. This is true. All that speed allows him to make it very close when he gets thrown out at 2B ignoring the hold sign to end a game. He sucks, and he and Cora will shorten this lineup and allow Wang to cruise. AGon has a low average, but he can put a charge into one occasionally. The defense can play Cora and Harris like girls.
  9. Willie Harris will suck the life out of this lineup. He 's a zero threat. Wily Mo was really producing, and he hadn't even gotten in a groove. What's the word on his injury?
  10. But the bobble happened right in front of the coach. He should have gotten him home. Plus Long has a very inaccurate arm.
  11. 3B coach gave up a run. Idiot. Sveum sent them to their sure deaths and this guy goes one base at a time.
  12. Ryan had the greatest arm of any pitcher. There is no disputing that, and he is the Strikeout king, but he is not and was not the greatest pitcher. He walked too many guys. The greatest goes hands down to Pedro. I watched him and Clemens for many years, and that was my opinion backed up with no stats. The stats however bear it out. Take a look at every stat that is important for a pitcher. Look at Pedro's rank on the all-time list for the following stats: 1. Winning % 2. Lg. Adj. ERA 3. Hits/9 innings 4. Hits + walks/9 innings 5. k's/9inings 6. strikeout to walks ratio After digesting his rank in those all-time categories, tell me who else compares. The answer is clearly that he is incomparable.
  13. The vast anti-Yankee conspiracy rears its ugly head once again. See you chumps in Bean Town tomorrow night.
  14. The vast anti-Yankee conspiracy rears its ugly head once more. See you chumps in Bean Town.
  15. It is the vast conspiracy against the Yankees rearing its ugly head again. See you chumps in Bean Town tomorrow.
  16. I was there too. I was surprised when Mohr came out of the dugout late at the change of innings. It wasn't part of a double switch, because WMP was due up the next inning. I was wondering if there was anything on the post-game show about it.
  17. Small looked like what he is-- a bush leaguer. And who is this guy Bean?
  18. And Durazo plays where?
  19. Any word on Wily Mo? He was replaced by Dustin Mohr on defense. He was getting a workout in the outfield chasing all the shots given up by Alvarez and DiNardo. He really covered a lot of ground and from my vantage point I could see that he ws getting excellent jumps on the ball. He banged into the wall one time and he looked like he might be hurting just a bit.
