  1. We all know these players, the really hard working guys. The guys that go out there and play for the love of the game, and they go face-to-face when they have to. You might think of guys like Nixon, Mueller, Varitek, Matsui, etc. Who are you're top Dirt Dog style players? I'd have to go with the following: Jason Varitek, C Albert Pujols, 1B Mark Loretta, 2B Derek Jeter, SS Bill Mueller, 3B Hideki Matsui, LF Jim Edmonds, CF Trot Nixon, RF Seems like a Yankee, Red Sox, Cardinal affair mostly except for Mueller.
  2. I don't get it.. Why are they pinch-hitting a guy like Costa (.275, 3 HR) and German (.392, .942 OPS). Shouldn't they be starting? Especially Costa over Sanders (.239.. Seven HR's or not..)
  3. Two down.
  4. I am not saying this to be mean, but from outside the room I thought they had a mentally challanged child doing it..
  5. God Bless America Land that I love, Stand beside Her, And guide Her..
  6. Stepping to the plate in the ninth for the Royals.. http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers_and_honorees/hofer_bios/images/Brett_George_3.jpg GEORGE BRETT!
  7. He's trying to be a pitcher instead of a hurler, I think he should stick to what works.
  8. The Celtics could trade down one to the Rocket's spot and take a second round pick. That would most likely mean the C's take O'Bryant.
  9. Loretta is incredible right now, 5-0 Red Sox.
  10. Wow, if the Yankees lose this game I would not want to be living in New York when the Boss explodes.
  11. I believe the Pirates would be interested in Clement still.
  12. Why not start the games with Papelbon in the first, then Foulke in the second, and then our starter for the day for the rest.
