  1. He's not $8 million better per year. He too is injury prone and he's only one year younger than Nixon. The primary point of my post wasn't the RF situation nor was it an argument in favor of Nixon. The point of my post was to agree with Mr. Crunchy that it is baffling to give Drew this kind of contract when we let Damon walk for a mere $1 million more per season.
  2. Crunchy, I am with you on this. Drew to me is an expensive, but only slightly better version of NIxon who we could probably re-sign for 2 years for $8 million, and he could share RF with Wily Mo. To give Drew almost what Damon got from the Yankees is just baffling. Damon was 32 (1 year older than Drew). He didn't have Drew's Injury history. Plus, Damon had the speed element as part of his game and he was a CF. I don't get it.
  3. Pardon my edits, but this is much more entertaining
  4. I believe this theory is known as the "Egocentric New York Yankee Fan Theory." It has about as much credibility as the Yankee fans on this site--- zero.
  5. Yes and they will building the new stadium in that toilet of a neighborhood in the Bronx.
  6. Cashman is way overpaid, because he apparently does nothing.
  7. Because no one will take that overpaid useless bag of s*** Giambi. Was he also a Tampa move?
  8. As compared to that toilet in the Bronx?
  9. I'd just be guessing at this point, but Theo is going after a top closer.
  10. I said that he would be a good start to building the bullpen. I didn't say that he would be the closer.
  11. Not really, because I thought the Yankees were looking for a major league player in return.
  12. And Godzilla didn't have on AB in America, but guess who I picked with the number 1 pick in my leagues minor league draft. That's right... I didn't pick the guys from AA or AAA. You are having a hard time dealing with this whole Matsazuka thing. Well, you can still cling to the hope that he only wants to paly for the Yankees.
  13. She doesn't even see her own double standards. It's quite amusing.
  14. Laugh away. I am having a ball.
  15. Eat your heart out.
  16. I guess you missed the part in that quote about him being "unhappy." By extending him by two years they made him happy, and the deal became attractive to the Tigers.
  17. I made the proper edits.
  18. For the last time, congratulations on dumping a borderline Hall of Fame outfielder and an 11 game winner for one fat pitcher with 50 innings and about a 10 ERA against the Red Sox and three lottery tickets. Big accomplishment.
