My strategy would be to lump together the major league ready pitching prospects, (i.e. Buchholz and Bowden) with Anderson. After a year and a half of Halladay, the next generation of minor league pitchers will be major league ready. If the Sox get Halladay or Lee, there is no need to hold onto Buchholz, because there would be no room for him. After a trade, next year's rotation would be Beckett, Halladay/Lee, Lester, Wakefield and Dice K. There would be no spot for Buccholz, which makes him the logical prospect to be traded.
