Singleton was saying that he never touched the plate, but he clearly did. The onle question was whether Coke got his leg before he hit the plate. He missed his entire upper body as he went by.
Roberts was safe at the plate. Coke missed the tag and Roberts slid head first passed the plate and he tagged home with his foot after he slid by the plate.
They can call him up and send him back all year long without having to pass him thru waivers. Next season he is out of options. That's when he'll get his shot at the rotation.
Same 'ol stuff. It's just me and my brother at the beach house sipping margaritas and waiting for our two beautiful stripper friends who are about half our age. I'll have to remember to put in my teeth and change my Depends. What drudgery! How's your day going?

I swear if Wakefield is scheduled for another post season start, I'll call in a bomb scare. I can't take watching another Wakefield post season start. Just forfeit that game and save the bullpen for the next three games.
Joba pitched out of a 5th inning jam and went into a double spin fist pump celebration. What a jerk. More batters need to fist pump when they take him deep. After fist pump HR s by the likes of Clete Thomas, Joba might be humbled.
