    That was more pitches than Pedro had thrown in a game since he was 29 years old. Very impressive. His velocity and location was there throughout.

    Pedro came out to pitch the 8th inning after 107 pitches. He K'd Wright on 5 filthy pitches to lead off the inning. The ump squeezed him on two of those pitches. Ump squeezed him on 2-2 pitch to Beltran too. He's up over 120 pitches and just threw a changeup where the bottom dropped out to Murphy. He hit 91 on his 125th pitch. Murphy doubled. Manuel visited the mound and left Pedro in after 128 pitches. He's looking good. Murphy just got thrown out at 3rd for the last out. 8 shutout innings. Wow!
