  1. 6-0 Baltimore-- still batting in the 4th.
  2. Is he becoming Mark Loretta? That is what scouts thought he would be.
  3. Ortiz could definitely beat him in a race. Until that IF hit, we were helping Danks with his pitch count.
  4. 5-0 Oriloles with 1 out and 2 on in the bottom of the 4th. If the Rangers can't beat the Orioles they will fade fast.
  5. Danks at 43 pitches after 2 innings.
  6. Baltimore is leading Texas 2-0 in the top of the 4th.
  7. WOw that turned the inning around for Lester! Nice play by Pedroia.
  8. A comparison to Kennedy. High praise indeed.
  9. There you go encouraging me again.
  10. I missed Example when he went on hiatus from TalkSox, and i am glad that he has come back and stayed.
  11. Don't go geting all pissy. Truth be told, I don't really disagree with you on this issue, but the law has evolved to an absurd state today. I work closely with employment lawyers, so I am very familiar with the state of the law. Unfortunately, it has evolved to its absurd state as the result of the efforts of liberal do-gooders. I would never call you a racist or bigot of any sort. I just couldn't resist pointing out that what you were suggesting could be actionable under the law, and in today's absurd legal system, good people like you can find themselves in court on the other side of such accusations. I enjoyed the back and forth, and I just wanted to have you help me illuminate the absurdity of the state of employment law. I sincerely apologize if I upset you. I wanted to ruffle your feathers a little and get a reaction, but I was trying to be clear that I was not impugning your character. Peace brother.
  12. You called me self-righteous and you called me bigoted. Later you said I never called you a bigot. An isolated act of racial insensitivity or bigotry doesn't make someone a bigot or racist, and I very clearly stated that I thought you certainly were not a racist. I did call you "self-righteous" and for that I apologize. I also called you a "do-gooder", but I don't think that is a bad thing. The world could use a few more do-gooders. I also called you a "liberal", but I noticed that you were not offended by that. I guess being a liberal is back in vogue.
  13. The Orioles hold on for the win. The Rangers let a huge opportunity get away. That may be it for them.
  14. Yankee fans are pulling for the Rangers big time, because they view them as post-season patsies. The Red Sox worry them.
  15. Is it that POS Chris Ray that the yankees kill every time he pitches against them?
  16. They used to bunt on Jim Abbott and he had one hand, but it didn't work because he was able to field better than pitchers with two hands. Pitchers with injuries that would prevent them from fielding usually prevent them from being able pitch. Wakefield can pitch with a bad leg, but few others.
  17. Wow, Kotsay can also play first base. Why did we need Kotchman?
  18. Dice K gave up two HRs yesterday in AAA. It doesn't sound like he is going to be much help.
  19. Baltimore stil leading Texas 5-4 in the bottom of the 6th.
  20. How is a limping cornerback any different than a limping pitcher?
