    They picked up his option for 2011 for $12 million. If they had given him 2 years $18- 20 million for 2011-12, he'd probably been very happy and the Sox would have made a very good deal.

    While we Oooh and Ahh about AGon (and he is a total stud) what has been overlooked has been that David Ortiz has been the best hitter on the team. He tends to get overlooked whe he is a beast at the plate, but people have been willing to dump him at the slightest sign of slippage. Many people are still willing to let him walk away after this season. I just don't understand that.

    Ridiculous. We are in danger of giving losing a game when we should have blown away the other team. Sutton is in the lineup for Ortiz and he can't field or hit. Thanks Tito for giving the other team a chance.
