    I'll take the Homer. As you point out, the minimum runs scored on the Homer is 1. For a double to score runs, you have to assume there are base runners before the double or hit(s) after the double. I am not quite sure about the purpose of this thread. The choice between 2 doubles or a Homer never presents itself. If I had my druthers, I'd take 2 Homers.

    Lester's ERA went from 3.36 to 3.94 tonight. Lester's agent will surely drop a thank you card in the mail for Tito.

    Jeezus! Lester struggled from the opening pitch. What was the point of leaving him out there on a night when he clearly didn't have it. He was lucky the damage wasn't worse, because the White Sox gave away us two outs. I just don't know what he was thinking.

    Doesn't matter whether it's cheap or not. He shouldn't have been out there for the 6th inning. He didn't have it. It was clear. He spent 130 bullets to leave the game losing 5-3. Then when he has good stuff and he's tearing through the opposition lineup they will take him out because of the pitch count limitations.
