  1. Lester needs to be an ace tomorrow. He and Beckett need to get the team through the injuries to the offense without going into a big slump. We need them to hold teams to 3 or fewer runs, because this offense is not going to produce more than a handful of runs.
  2. It is taking its toll on the pen.
  3. No, he's really only 44. He just plays like he is 90.
  4. That's what we'll need. We only have 5 regulars in the lineup and Crawford , Scutaro and Salty have been slumping.
  5. The pen hasn't done anything tonight. Albers arm has turned to spaghetti from overuse.
  6. Wake's ERA is over 5. He does suck. f*** his 200th win. He could lose his spot to Miller is this continues.
  7. Albers has now given up runs in 5 of his last 7 outings.
  8. Wake has to have the record for outings in search of win 200.
  9. Albers has a string of outings where he has given up runs.
  10. Does Wakefield have the record for most starts in pursuit of win 200?
  11. The reliever gave up A.J.'s 3 runners so A.J. gets charged with 7 earned runs. Maybe he'll be happy now.
  12. 1 run is not enough for Wake. They need to put some runs on the board.
  13. A.J. got pulled in the 2nd inning and apparently had some words for Girardi. I tried reading his lips. I think he said: "what no 7-run rule? You suck!"
  14. Warning track power
  15. A.J. is up to his usual tricks. Yanks down 4-0 in the 2nd inning.
  16. I hope this doesn't turn into last years injury saga for Ellsbury.
  17. Good luck to Wakefield trying to get number 200 backed up by this lineup.
  18. I heard on NESN that Francona said in Spring Training that Lavarnway had a long way to go in his defensive development.
  19. It's not the first time for ol Dutchy. I think he might have the TalkSox record for bans.
