  1. Lester went to the hill in three huge games and he came up small each time-- not a money ace. He's just not. He's a # 3.
  2. Bad play by Crawford, but Lester is s***ing the bed again. He just s*** it all up. f*** Lester!! He's no big game pitcher. Sorry, but he is not. Game over. I'm going out. Done with this bull s***. That was a wrecking ball to the season.
  3. Crawford boxed that ball.
  4. Lester's command in these big games has sucked.
  5. Lester, time to ace up.
  6. Aviles didn't cover 3rd there. He doesn't have a clue as a third baseman.
  7. Lester goes a scoreless inning to start the game. The firs tinning has caused him the most problems.
  8. You must have the wrong display format selected.
  9. Why they playing small ball? Ells could have been banged out there.
  10. It's always nice to get the leadoff guy on. No small ball. Even if Lester pitches well, our BP will give up runs. We need big innings.
  11. If they stop the bleeding and go deep into October, there is no failure for which to assign blame. Theo is not going to lose his job after 2011 regardless of the outcome, but he now has a 5 year record on which to judge him regardless if we go to the playoffs in 2011. There are some significant shortcomings in his record. BTW: I say that he has a 5 year record, because after 2006, only Manny was left from the Duquette days. It was completely Theo's team after 2006.
  12. I've felt like throwing up for more than two weeks. I should have gone with my feelings. It would've helped me lose a few lbs. Something positive should come out of this.
  13. What exactly is he grinding through? A couple of day? He's been out for a long time. What difference will a couple of days make for his healing process?
  14. Pudge Rodriguez just gunned out a guy. He's 40+ and he is light years better than Salty defensively. After Fisk, the only Sox catcher that I can remember that could throw was Pena.
  15. I don't know if I would have picked this time to experiment or play a hunch.:dunno:
  16. Chieng Ming Wang is actually useful again.
  17. Against a soft throwing righty at Yankee Stadium, I wouldn't be surprised if Crawford goes deep.
  18. Dice K will not be ready at the start of the season-- maybe not the entire season.
  19. 2012 would be the time to move him to the rotation if the Sox bolster the end of the pen with Heath Bell.
  20. Do any of our pitchers have stamina. We are at the bottom of the heap on QS. He's a strong kid. He should have no problem being better than the garbage that we have had in the 4th and 5th slots for the last several years.
  21. It have read and heard that he still wants to be a starter. He would be a huge upgrade over Wakefield, Miller, and the cast of clowns this year. He'd just have to be reliable and able to take the ball every 5th day. We have not had a #5 starter do that since Bronson Arroyo.
  22. As usual, the 2009 team had depth problems. He went dumpster diving that off season. (BTW: I should have copyrighted 'dumpster diving", because it has caught on) He got Penny (almost useless), Smoltz (completely useless) and Baldelli (injured when he was needed). He wasted $12 million on this garbage. He also completely failed to address the SS situation. Having Nick Green as a starting SS on a contender is a glaring failure. 2009 was another season where the Sox could have gone much further if there had been some depth.
