Agreed, but some guys do hit a ceiling and never progress. I was just pointing out that they have some work ahead to progress. I have noticed that Renaudo is off to a fast start in Portland. He may take the next step before Barnes.

Yes, it is a long season, but until they demonstrate mastery at those levels they will not be promoted.

Barnes has been struggling at AA and De La Rosa hasn't had even a mediocre outing at AAA.

Yeah but look at the return we got for those guys. We got Andrew Bailey and uh ... uh... pretty much no one.

I have always been a Nava fan. I was at the game when he hit the Grand Slam on the first pitch he saw in the majors. However, I didn't think he had what it takes to stick in the majors for more than a few cups of coffee. He is proving me wrong.

This is the first time in a few years that the Red Sox have had 12 wins in April. It looks to be a fairly well-balanced squad. Webster looks like a decent depth option. I didn't think they would go to him this early in the season. One of the keys to the team is Victorino. He's a sparkplug, and a great fielder. A few balls dropped in yesterday that he would have caught. Our OF defense is atrocious when Victorino is not on the field.

    Hater.

This is still much better than the 4th place team that I was expecting, so I am not too upset. You are going to lose some excruciating games along the way.

I really hope Middlebrooks breaks out of this slump.

    The fossil Tejada strikes out.

Nah. Papi gets them next inning. He's going to look out at the mound and tell the Royal's pitcher "f*** you, this is my town!" Then he is going yard.

I thought that was it. Damn!!

I am still holding out for Ortiz.

MVP is snarky 98% of the time and wrong 95% of the time. He has 0 credibility.

I am going with a walk off PH by Ortiz.

It was pointless snark like 98% of your posts. It wasn't about baseball.

Billy Butler always seems to crush our pitching.

He is under a bizarre compulsion to make every post about another poster. We are all enjoying Napoli's big night, except for MVP who views it as settling scores.

    I really like that.

Gordon needs to let Cain get whatever he can reach.

Farrell's teams in Toronto ran the bases like idiots.
  23. a700hitter
Napoli crushing balls tonight, but running the bases like an idiot. Butterball probably sent him.
  24. a700hitter
 Why did Felix get skipped?
  25. a700hitter
Okay, went over to NESN instead of Extra Inning stations and it is still on there. Whew!!!
