You made an accusation that someone was making it up when they said Buch was refusing to pitch after it was very clear from his published statements that he was not ready to go out there even though the docs said that he was okay. It is pretty safe to surmise that management is frustrated with how long it is taking him to get back on the mound and that the expalnation is not that management is being cautious with him.

His k's/9 have fallen off a cliff down to 6 from 9.3 last year. His WHIP is 1.6. His 2011 was a horror show. He was not throwing well. The stats don't say that, but he wasn't. That's why the Mets cut him.

Rubby has had another atrocious start. He has been pretty bad in his last 3 starts. Two of them were disastrous. His ERA is at 3.90after tonight. Webster's first start at AAA since being optioned back was a bomb too. And to boot Middlebrooks is not finding himself either. The help we need this season will not be coming from our own system.

Wow, they have just had one failed attempt after another filling the closer spot. Hopefully, they hit gold with Uehara for this season. Bailey was damaged goods before we got him. The fianl verdict on this trade goes to the A's. At least they got one good season out of Reddick. We got nothing out of Beetle Bailey.
