    O feel very much the same way, but I am e ven more confused. What message needed to be sent? What message was geing sent? Was Dempster send ing a message that he doesn't like steroids? It was too stupid for words.

    SFF, you are clearly on an adrenaline high from catching an Ortiz foul ball Tvery cool) and Bogaert's call up. This loss was much worse than game one when you went on a rant and declared us dead. It was the worst loss of the year on many fronts. We put up F against CC and jumped out to a lead only to watch Dempster act like a fool and then s*** himself and kill his team. He also managed to breathe life and spirit into the Yankees and galvanize the Yankee team. Behind ARoois. Unbelievable. At times like this I really wish we had Earl Weaver as our manager. He would be blasting Dempster's stupidity for the whole flight to CA. He road Jim Palmer mercileslly and Palmer was great. Farrell will say nothing. I am just hoping for us to hold serve in CA. And tread water in the standings.

    I am still looking for some rationale explanation for Dempster to throw at ARod in the second innng last night. Had the Yankee pitchers plunked our guys in the first 2 gamesand I missed it? Had ARod been showing up our pitchers in the first 2 games? Those would be reasons to hit him. I saw no reason. Why the hell were our fans cheering Dempster for putting on the lead off batter in the second inning with a 2 run lead? The whole situation was too stupid for words. Dumpster is basically useless as a starter at this point. He can't even keep us in games.

    Brittle Boy Buchholz needs to step up his program and get back on the hill for us before we are 5 games out of 1st and struggling to hang onto the second wild card.

    In that case, it was just colossal stupidity. Our guys turned the game into amateur hour. Dempster has a hard time getting through 5 innings without giving up half a dozen runs. He can't put guys on intentionally.

    You are on a roll tonight. It was just f***ing pointless stupidity by Dempster. As bad as Dempster's control was tonight, I wonder if there is any possibility that it was unintentional.

    The guy stinks. He has been horrible in July and thus far in August. Opposing hitters are OPSing well above .800 against him in that span and his ERA must be around 6+

    You got that right. I am furious watching this game. We will have 1 more loss than Tampa after tonight, and we will get to go to the coast and have some top pitchers carve up our lineup, especially if Ortiz sits some games.

    He doesn't throw anywhere as hard as Bard did when bard was going good. Bard was hitting 101 on the gun at times and he was regularly 97-99.

    Rubby going one inning-- I would expect to see he him humping 99-100 after reading his press clippings.

    I still don't understand the whole thing. It was just ridiculously stupid, and it underscores why Dempster is a big loser.

    Rubby doesn't care about the runner on 2nd and gives him third, and we let Chris Stewart hurt us again. Mo doesn't blow 3 run leads. I hope they get the 4th run so Mo doesn't come in for the save. I am tired of the Mo love fest in the booth.

    Not me. No lead is safe with Dempster. If we put up a crooked number, he can't wait to give it back. I am sick of the guy.

    If we lose this game, it will be absolutely infuriating, especialy with 6 games looming in NL parks on the coast.
