thats the perfect example. the nerdy kid in gym class who usually is wearing glasses and gets picked on all the time then tries to throw like a dodgeball at the person making fun of him and cant throw more than 5 feet. hahaha

Peavy is probably the nastiest pitcher in baseball right now. His stuff is absolutely filthy. -
id love to be in texas right now as it is about 20 degrees colder than it is here in the northeast. dont know how that makes any sense.

How many players would, if given the option to start in a game against there biggest rival, tell there manager to play someone else? It seems like he just doesnt want to be there.

i kinda like this chinese guy, he plays like an NBA player. Athletic, kinda cocky and can dribble and move for a 7 footer. If he becomes more consistent on his 3pt shooting, he is somewhat like Dirk. http://youtube.com/watch?v=WAan4mo1U9Q

he pitched again today, went all 9 giving up 0 runs and had 13 K's season totals: 7-0, 51.1 IP, 83 K's, 8 BB's, 0.00 ERA

no not Mcgeary but ya mcgeary is pretty good to he throws a little harder than mcdermott, whos on my team, and has a better curveball. he's a projected first rounder

watch sportsdesk after the sox game tonight, there doing a special on him there were 5 scouts at our game last night in which he pitched. (7 IP, 14 K's 3 H, 0 R) the phillies i think have shown the most interest in him

for all of you who think Dice-K will never be good and was a bust if he can just pitch every inning the same, and not have control issues in that 1 inning, hes ERA would probably be around 3 right now. he just needs to work on controlling his pitches when pitching frmo the stretch and he'll be an ace

I might watch if my friend/teamate has a chance to get drafted early. Lefty pitcher, who i'm good friends with and i play with on my high school team, could possibly be a mid round pick this year. There doing a thing on him on NESN Sportsdesk next Tuesday i think. So far this year his stats: 5-0, 35.1 IP, 56 K's, 6 BB's, 0.00 ERA with had pro scouts at a couple of our games this year. fastball 87-91 MPH with good movement and great control, very good changeup with downward movement, curveball is solid but could use some work, same with his slider. first game of the year, he went all 9 innings, striking out 22 in a 2-0 win. He takes over games on the mound. Big kid, about 6'1 230 lbs, who was also nasty at football. hard worker who is very confident but not cocky. i think he could very possibly be a MLB middler reliever, at worse.
