  1. ya it pretty cool knowin someone like that. hes got a shitload of connections in baseball and hockey. like when we go to bruins games we sit up in the pressbox and get the free s***. he also gets us tickets to sox games occasionally and to pawsox games when they play Durham in Pawtucket. get to go in the lockerroom to after the game and talk to alot of the players. also pretty sweet going to the cages with him and actually havin a AAA hitting coach who played MLB baseball tell you wat your doin wrong. to bad his son is on my high school team and isnt even close to same hitter his dad was
  2. my friends dad played MLB baseball. Some of you probably heard of him if your old enough Richie Hebner
  3. Talks seem to be slowing down
  4. my high school league uses wood. i myself use a 33 inch Louisville M9 Maple C271.
  5. rotoworld looks like everyone over in COL wants to get this thing done
  6. ya thats the lineup i would want if this thing happened. Id throw in 1 of Delcarmen/Hansen, 1 of Bowden/Bucholz and Youk to make this deal Olney thinks that Clement would be part of any deal to get Helton he also says that the Sox and Rockies having been talking about a deal since last fall
  7. rotoworld No matter how many draft picks we'd get in return, definitely not worth it.
  8. id give Cliff Politte an invite, see if he may be able to get back to his 2005 form
  9. id like to see Pena and Matos possibly get invites. any news on where Trot may be headed??
  10. not happening. with his shoulder trouble it would be the dumbest thing they could do this year. Id say theres less then a 10% chance of Paps closing
  11. how do you know that crisp is ever going to be the same? thats why, as i stated before, crisp should start in the 8th spot and if he plays better, like he did in cleveland, maybe put him in the 2 spot.
  12. .381 OBP, 5 SB .317 OBP, 22 SB which one would you rather see batting in front of Ortiz, Manny and Drew??
  13. ya but Youk gets on base way more than Crisp. Crisp's OBP is not good enough for him to be at the top of the lineup. Start him 8th in the lineup, if he plays well and gets his OBP back up to atleast .345+ maybe move him to the 2nd spot.
  14. I think Okajima could be this years version of Saito last year.
  15. i havnt seen the play yet either, i just read about it so now we have Allen, Pierce, West, Scalabrine, Pierce and Wally out for the friday game leavin Telfair, Gerald, Ray, Rondo as the only guards healthy. lineup might be telfair, gerald, gomes playing the 3, perkins, al since we only have no true SF/SG other than Gerald
  16. wow tough game tonight, losing the game but more importantly Tony Allen is out for the season. He was having such a great year to. To get hurt trying to dunk after the whistle and have your season ruined just sucks. also, scals in the hospital for a knee injury, shouldnt be a big lose anyway, but still another body hurt
  17. bruins lost tonight 10-2 to toronto. they were up 2-1 in the second then they played worse then my high schools team for the last 2 periods. Worst 2 periods of hockey ive seen an NHL team play
  18. wally sucked big time tonight, 4-13 shooting, couple turnovers, just didnt look good at all tonight. however gerald did very well in the minutes he played. im hoping we see more of gerald and less of wally for the rest of the year, since this team is going nowhere anyway
  19. the shot reminded me of those powerade commercials
  20. anyone else just see Lebron drain that 85 footer with .1 second left in the third that guy is a friggen joke btw, gerald needs to play more minutes than wally
  21. http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/index.ssf?/base/sports-1/1167025066122190.xml&coll=1 little bit more reliable source
  22. TV, gym membership, clothes, money
  23. mlbtraderumors not really a great source, but still interesting to read
  24. for 4 years gives the Brewers the best rotation in the NL Central for next year
  25. should be interesting to see how that lineup responds Telfair/Rondo/West Allen Green Gomes Al thats the future of the team right there
