Lester, Gabbard and Ellsbury for Buehrle and a AAA relief ptcher???
NO WAY
like cityofchampiions said, lowrie instead of ellsbury, and id do the deal
and the whitesox should to
BTW, the Globe today said that Buchholz and Ellsbury will not be part of any Buehrle deal
its a shame to see Timlin struggle so bad this year. He's on his way out very soon id hope. He was the sox most reliable reliever over the last couple years.
what were we giving up? all i heard was the 5th pick and a little more for Jermaine O'Neal
get the deal done with the 5th pick, gerald and gomes or sumthing
Anyone else starting to notice Drew and Crisp may be heating up??
Crisp has his average up to .250 now, and has hit .308 in June with 3 HR
Drew's average is up to .243 and he's hitting .291 in June with 4 HR. His OBP is only at .344 this month but his SLG% has gone up to .582 during June.
Lugo on the otherhand, is just continuing to get worse. He's batting .109 in June with a .183 OBP and .172 SLG%. Has only 2 extra base hits in june in 64 AB's. And his RBI totals are way down from last month, only 4 in June. Hitting .201 on the season, he needs to go and we need to find an MLB SS.
hes been dirty over the last two months with a 3.39 ERA. Hasn't lost a game since May 11th.
hope he can keep pitching this well and solidify the rotation
i would have given Travis Hughes a shot and let MDC continue to pitch well in AAA a little longer
4-2, 0.96 ERA, 24 G, 37.3 IP, 4 ER, 2 HR, 12 BB, 35 K, 1.58 GO/AO, .167 AVG, 0.88 WHIP

only question i have is why he hasn't been promoted yet? The Nationals outfielders are all hitting under .260 with only 2 guys hitting above .210.
