I mean seriously, the guy rapes a woman, and the Feds don't even bother to do anything about it yet they got time to go after people who are cheating in a game? hey look I'm as pissed off about Clemens and Bonds as the next guy, but give me a break, i'd rather have the rapists in jail.

    Incredibly poor judgment by Waxman with his closing statement. Just really piss poor and incredibly self-serving. And this is coming from someone who's convinced Raja is a juicer and can't stand the sight of him. All that his stupid self-serving closing statement did wasjust cause people to have sympathy for a cheater. Now his lawyers can claim that it was personal and that the odds were stacked against Raja from the beginning and soon we'll get Waxmanism to replace McCarthyism. Just incredibly self-serving and ridiculously stupid.

    wow i cant believe the Twins traded Santana for that package. The Sox and Yanks packages were FAR FAR superior. Yanks had two major leaguers ont he table in Hughes and Cabrera. Sox had a pretty good ML lefty in Lester and a prospect in Howrie who from some accounts had as much potential as Gomez. Plus both Hughes and Lester are battle tested in the AL East while blah blah blah ok I'm not even going to bother. Someone needs to fire Bill Smith. COMPLETELY overplayed his hand.
