I just wanted to say that I do understand why you made this sub forum, but I think that the Yankee fans here need to understand the Talksox.com part. The Yankee Thread is really all thats needed, major injuries and things like that are ok, but I think that some Yankees fans have tried to turn this subforum(General MLB) into Yankees, and I only feel The Yankee Tjhread is needed(and that Yankee game threads shouldn't even be had, lol, go to Yankee sites) But, I do understand why it was made, and I'm just saying my thoughts.

Wow, awsome game, it was the only time I felt safe going into the ninth down 1, but man I was nervous on that 3-1 becuase Jorge got kocked up pretty bad(it a home plate colliton...pervets)and I wasn't sure he'd be able to get a hit, but he did me one better!! Lets hope that Wang can make it 8 shutout IP tonight, give me a different game to watch!!

Sorry If I'm missing the point becuase I don't look at the news papers much, but I don't remember much talk of Jeters game in game out Clutch performances. A hit in the bottem of the ninth for the win is clutch. Numorus hits in the bottem of the ninth for wins is being clutch. Jeters gotten clutch plays. So I'm not saying Jeters my choice for who I want up in the bottem of the ninth with bases loaded, 2 outs down by 2(which would be Hedeki)..but Jeter is who I'd want to have on first representing that winning run. It it possible other SS could have done the things hes done, of course, but Jeter puts so much heart into the game for the team, when he makes that great play, its shown off as so much more, becuase theres more under the surface of it than the play itself.

yea, but if/when everyone comes back, I'd expect the team to make that move, weather its the right or wrong. Guess we'll have to wait a few weeks, but his playing time will probably drop

you must not understand that Melky was brought up to play Sheffs position while on the DL, a stint that will be over in a few weeks. So you can go preorder your Authentic Melky Cabrera 2006 ALDS Jersey if you want, but theres a great chance...he'll be back to AAA then
