  1. Just got a cool phone call, my friend had an extra ticket to tomarrows game, and I'll be going. Its only my second Yankee game ever, and my first night game, which I'm told is a lot better to be it, and I'll be getting to see my favorate current MLB player on the mound in Mike Mussina(I've waited my whole life to do the Mooooooose call!!), And I'm really excited.
  2. Ok, so he got one big hit, but after surviving last year, I've learned this, THAT MEANS SOMETHING! Maybe, as people were expecting, he'd ground into a double play, we'd lose, youd make fun of him, blah blah blah, and then a week down the road, hed get back into form, but who knows now what'll happen? Maybe we'll lose out on the division by 1 game, but maybe we'll win it by one game, he'll maybe we won't even be in contension, but that fact stays that he got the hit he needed yesterday, thats what we've been waiting for him to do and he did it. Will he have 10 over the span of 3 years like Ortiz? Probably not, but I can live with even 5, because I know that those 5 can mean big! And The win he got us yesterday was just as big becuase were still keeping ourselves within achievable range of the Red Sox while their Streaking, and rright now, I don't think if we got to 6+ games out, we'd be able that well to get back to first in time to have any type of lead. So, yea, he got one big hit, but I'll take that over no big hit anyday, and point being, maybe thats just what he needed, remember when we were down like 9-2 to you guys, he made it 9-4, but then he did good the next game, what position could a walk-off set him up for?
  3. It goes as the same w/ the HR, his first as a Yankee;) But it was his 100th Yankee homerun, too
  4. Yea, whats it now, like 9 games?
  5. It was 5-2 when he brought in Mo, Proctor gave up 2run homer in the 9th and then another hit.
  6. CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET Babe Ruth (New York Yankees) vs Ted Williams (Boston Red Sox) CONSOLATION BRACKET Pete Rose (Cincinnati Reds) vs Ty Cobb (Detroit Tigers)
  7. oo, I didn't see the game, I just checked the Gameday before I went to work, and it had Cairo playing 2B, Phillips at 1B, and Giambi DHin...what happened to Giambi
  8. exactly, fun game though So, any difference for tonights game? like will Cano be in?
  9. So, if played, todays games are Dontrell Willis vs Mike Mussina and Anibel Sachez vs Jeret Chacon
  10. If you know your not going to boo, then why does it matter what he wrote? Its not like people read that and then think less of Sox fans, they'd think less of Gammons if anyone if they disagree. And who knows, maybe theres some people who read that and agreed 100%, its all personal views on it.
  11. Thats why its good to have the Yankees and sometimes the Orangemen to fall back on when the Jets and Knicks are doing terrible(I always gotta have one good team a year)
  12. I actually thought he was a Sox fan till his like 1,000th post
  13. Babe Ruth and Ted Williams
  14. Where have you been? He was banned like 2 weeks ago
  15. Wow, I just get home, and Wirghts has 4 shutout innings, and a RBI......win or lose, this is a good game:lol:
  16. would it just be a 5-gamers like Randy
  17. Heres a stat for all you A-Rod haters to chew on, if you add his HRs to his GIDP, he'd lead the league in HRs!!!!!!
  18. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  19. Remember when...26 to 6 bitch j/k..urs was untoppable It was funny becuase there was a big article on mlb.com saying how this was the matchup of the week, hmmmm.
  20. lol...ok, he said that heknows a lot of Yankee bandwagoners in Rochester, NY, and I'm saying that not that far from there, in Utica, I know a lot of Red Sox bandwagoners, and that I'd gladly trade one for the opther
  21. 'Yanks need Moose to keep munching on Phillies'?? Thats a wierd head line mlb.com
  22. no, but 25 Red Sox fans represent the 25 bitch Red Sox fans that I was talking about, and out of the 25 Red Sox fans, I'd perfer 25 know-nothing Yankees Fans over the 25 know-nothing Red Sox fans witch I know.
  23. Becuase I watch ball games with them(like Yankees-Orioles games or something) and all they ever say is lets watch the old fight or put on HBO, fever pitch is on. haha, thats probably true, too. Though all those kinda Yankee fans by me are too busy making a CD then to listen to me lol
  24. Interesting enough, only about 45min away from you, in Utica, NY is bandwagon central for Sox fans. Of course I see the basic feinds with their Yankees fitted hats and really know nothing, but I know more Sox fans than Yankee fans, and all but one of them even knew who Pesky was, and why it was called the Pesky Pole..something all my 'Yankee' friends know. I guess its just something your lucky with. I'd truly love to know 25 bitch Yankee fans over 25 bitch Sox fans, becuase at least the Yankee fans would find my stories of Red Ruffing interesting, all the Sox fans I know wanna do is watch the A-Rod-Veratek fight and watch Fever Pitch.
