  3. Sucks about the loss, but 3Innings and only 1 hit for small, maybe hes coming together(probably not..facts concidering, but good outing by him none-the-less)
  4. Pitty of a fall-apart by the Yankees, oh well, a comebacker would be nice(2 differnent types)....but a loss, and it was still a good display/
  5. Damn, never even thought it was that bad. Well, Bernies gunna get a lot more than he expected when he resigned!

  10. lol, I don't wanna be buried there...but I have visited his grave, and got a picture of me standing by it, the closest I'v ever been to him....to what I can control. (Click Here) Mr Crunchy, I PMed you the 'story' of it, but for everyone else, lets just say...when someones no one knows of is that good, you gotta stepup, and let him be known.
  11. If were in 2nd place for the first 90% of the season, then we'd be in 1st place for the last 10%, and therefore....when it actually counts, in the end.
  12. lol, yea, the first 90%, but it was a clever idea
  13. Damn...I hope that never happens to the Yankees this year.
  14. Though its a rookie pitching, I do not expect the bats to be strong like yesterday, but I hope we can spot some runs up for Wang, and I think we might need like 7-10 to win this one, we'll have to see.
  15. Mussina coming off that hot CG, heres to getting that PG he almost had at the Sox before http://nyjetsfan.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/drinks.gif
  16. Well...he closed a lot of games against the Jets.
  17. May I inquire to why hes a f***ing moron becuase that was his best swing?
  18. Wow, thats the dumest thing I ever read. We both won, you got your win in the ninth, we got our win in the ninth, you had your lights out closer get the save, we got our bitch wannabe the win. Thats what its all about? haha, I'll have to remember that.
  19. Wouldn't 3-2 counts be ones when he'd get a pitch to hit, so the pitcher can avoid a walk? I think 0-2 would be mnore impressive. And also, can you find me how many atbats and strikeouts there are in that too? For all we know he coulda had 1,000 3-2 counts in his career with 250 SOs Heres where I find it interesting, A-rod always has more Game Winning RBIs year-in, year-out than Ortiz, but its only because Ortiz gets his in the 8th-on that hes called clutch. I'm sorry, I like to watch impressive finishes as much as the next guy. But I don't think you should take away from A-Rod just becuase he gets his big hits in the 4th and 5th, and then helps with defense to shut the other team down to lead for a win, while Oritz is consistent, but does his handy work in the late innings. Its pretty much the same thing, just...I guess more people watch the 8th and 9th innings than they do the whole game.
  20. A clutch hit is what people want to believe it to be. Carlos Guillen had the game winning hit vs the Yankees yesterday, clutch right? Sure, but he also had another RBI in that game, in the earlier innings, that, if not for, they wouldn't have won, is that clutch though? I feel as if their are some players who work great under pressure(Ortiz), and then there are some players who are consistent with the way they proform. The difference is, we all remember the 'clutch' hits, but we don't remember the consistent hits. If your down by 2 in the bottem of the ninth, and you win becuase a player hits a 3-run homer, that could be clutch, but it could also be clutch of the guys standing on the bases to get there, and score the runs. So, even though there are definatly players who I would want up to bat in the ending innings, I wouldn't say their a 'clutch hitter' untill their batting over .700 in that position, but they can still come up big, or....clutch.
  21. I'll round it up to 40
